Karen Guilbault

Hello and welcome to another episode of the Guilbault Girls Show. I am your host Karen Guilbault, and today’s guest Laurieann Enright

Laurieann is a single parent to John and Nicholas, her beautiful identical twin boys. In February 2017 at the age of 5 they were diagnosed with non-verbal autism, global developmental delays, and intellectual disability. She battled aggressive triple negative breast cancer from 2018-2019, and she’s grateful to still be here to care for her amazing boys who are now 11 years old. During her cancer battle she also went through a nasty divorce. She works full-time as a paralegal to provide for her sons. She also has 3 wonderful adult children. The boys and Laurieann moved back to California this summer to be closer to them.

She soldiers on through her days without complaining because she knows how blessed she is. She’s fueled by grit and grace. Her sons make her laugh even on days when she’s too tired to smile! She thinks of herself as a hermit because it's not practical for her to take the boys anywhere by herself. She makes their home life as full as she can.
